Museum Trail: International Women’s Day

Join us for an inspiring museum trail to mark International Women’s Day, celebrating the achievements, stories and creativity of femail artists, with a special focus on ceramics, studio makers, painters and local heritage. Born here in Swadlincote Helen Allingham became one of the most celebrated Victorian watercolour painters and illustrators, and the first female member elected to the Royal Society of Watercolours.
