There’s a whole host of spooktacular and ghoulish fun for all the family planned at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum this Half Term including Family Craft Workshops and Ghost Hunts!

Tribal Vibes will be waking up the museum and kicking the half term activities off with their Family Djembe Drumming Session in the Kiln on Wednesday 27th October. Then prepare yourselves as the fangtastic fun starts to build up!

Halloween themed family craft workshops will be running at the museum from Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st October where you will be able to get into the ‘spirit’ of the season and take part in a variety of Halloween craft activities including making your own proton pack, slimer mask and slime, potent potions, paint a pumpkin and more. This will prepare you for the weekend of Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October when Sharpe’s will be transformed into a spooky spectacular and Ghost Hunters will be required to report for duty…

Reports of ghosts and ghouls haunting Swadlincote have been coming in thick and fast over previous weeks … but who ya gonna call? You and your team of Ghost Hunters will charge up your proton packs and join an experienced Ghost Hunter who will take you to investigate the hauntings at the old Sharpe’s Pottery. Those brave enough to make it back can place their captured spooks in the containment unit at Campfire HQ in exchange for trick ‘n’ treat bags and a liquified ghost slushie (grown ups can have theirs a little stronger to settle their nerves!). The team of characters and special effects will make this a fab-boo-lous experience suitable for a younger family audience. Organised in association with Campfire Trailer.
