Sharpe’s Pottery Museum will be reopening on Thursday, 24th of June.

Subject to all lockdown restrictions being lifted and Government guidelines in place you’ll be able to visit the Museum and kiln hovel and see what we have to offer.

We can’t wait to show you our newly reinterpreted interior to include a bigger floor area and new exhibits, but not forgetting our roots and classic collections. These cover Bretby Art Pottery, the unique Sharpe’s ‘toilet story’ and many other local potteries such as Sharpe’s, Mason Cash, T. G. Green and Moira Pottery.

There will be so much to see and engage with, and something for the whole family and friends to talk about.

We’ll keep updating our social network sites over the next few weeks. So don’t forget to check what’s happening and find out how you and yours can enjoy a unique experience within the iconic walls of our beautiful and historic Sharpe’s Pottery Museum.

For now, there are a variety of outdoor craft activities happening over half term, 3rd to 5th of June, to include paint a pot and air dried clay.

We also have a Wedding Fayre  on 6th June, all details online here.
