Produced by Sharpe’s Pottery, Swadlincote in the late 19th century. Featuring a yellow and green glaze. Lord and Lady Toper jugs are jolly seated or standing figures, typically holding a beer. They are sometimes modelled to look like popular historical or fictional characters.
