27th October, 11am to 12noon – Family Djembe Drumming Workshop
Family djembe drumming workshops have been created and developed specifically to encourage whole family participation – children, parents, carers, aunts, uncles and grandparents are all welcome to participate in this wonderful family bonding musical activity! 28th to 31st October, 10am and 1pm – Halloween Family Crafts
There’s something strange in the neighbourhood, who you gonna call?! Be prepared for any bumps in the night or ghostly goings on at the museum with this fun themed family craft workshop! 30th & 31st October, 12noon to 8pm – Ghostbusting Tours
Reports of ghosts and ghouls haunting Swadlincote having been coming in thick and fast … but who ya gonna call?? Campfire Trailer that’s who! You and your team of Ghost Hunters will charge up your proton packs and join an experienced Ghost Hunter who will take you to investigate the hauntings at the old Sharpe’s Pottery Museum.
Those brave enough to make it back can place their captured spooks in the containment unit in exchange for trick n treat bags and a liquified ghost slushie (grown ups can have their a little stronger to settle their nerves!) Our team of actors and staff will make this a spooktacular experience suitable for a younger family audience leading your group of 8 guests around a 15 min tour with fancy dress encouraged!
