Regular Groups and Activities at Sharpe’s!
The museum hosts a variety of local arts, crafts and community groups on a regular basis throughout the year including Derwent Woodturning Club, South Derbyshire Community Drummers, Derby College’s Towards Work programme and The ‘Big Welcome Cafe’ organised by Swadlincote Asperger’s Society and People Express. Our Museum Shop has a great range of cards, gifts, jewellery, souvenirs and features a wide range of products from local independent artists, designers, makers and small businesses in the UK. Food & Drink at Sharpe’s!
Sweet Caroline is fully open at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, with a light menu for now including homemade cakes, sausage rolls and soups with a range of other light refreshments. Check their Facebook page for the latest menus and opening times! We’re looking forward to a full menu including afternoon teas soon!

Are you looking for a unique and heritage venue for your special occasion or event? Our Grade II listed kiln and Glaze Room offer the perfect setting! All your catering needs including celebration cakes can be provided by Sweet Caroline at Sharpe’s and you can even design and make your own wedding rings with our Artist in Residence ‘Louise Mary Designs!” All under one roof!
