We are excited to be hosting the launch of a new book exploring the evolution and journey of Moira Pottery from 1922 until 1991 by Martin Wroughton. A long-standing and valued volunteer at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum since 2005, Martin has applied his research skills, his knowledge of the Magic Attic and their immense archives, and his dedication to local history to create this fantastic work that will help preserve our local heritage for years to come!

So where better to host the launch of a book about pottery than in a pottery museum, where some Moira pottery can be found? Come down to Sharpe’s on Sunday the 16th October from 10am-2pm and join the Magic Attic, Author Martin Wroughton, and ourselves as we celebrate the launch of the new book ‘Moira Pottery, 1922 to 1991’!

Everyone is welcome so come and celebrate our rich, local heritage!
