Jubilee celebrations will be in full swing at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum this Half Term! From Artisan Markets to Open Mic in the Kiln, Djembe Drumming to a Party in the Museum complete with Afternoon Tea and Tea Dance, and fun family activities including crafts and a trail; there’s something to entertain all ages!

Travel through the Jubilees of decades past on the Jubilee Trail around the museum from 28th May to 5th June.

Create at our themed craft activities including Paint a Plant Pot, Jubilee Crafts or Clay Play sessions taking place on Sunday 29th May, Tuesday 31st May and Friday 3rd June.

Learn the art of mosaic making and make your own coaster with award winning Derbyshire Maker Sarah from Crafty You Crafty Me on 1st June.

Enjoy an afternoon session of Family Djembe Drumming in the Kiln with Tribal Vibes on Tuesday 31st May or test out the acoustics and show off your talents at our Open Mic in the Kiln on Sunday 5th June!

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with our ‘Party in the Museum’ on Thursday 2nd June! Enjoy an Afternoon Tea in our historic Grade II listed bottle kiln, join in the Tea Dance with Dancing with Karen and enjoy fun games!

Discover beautiful crafts and gifts from local artisans at the South Derbyshire Artisan Market on Saturday 4th June!
