Remember, remember, the fifth of November as Sharpe’s Pottery Museum will be celebrating Guy Fawkes Night with an illuminated display of Fireworks in the Kiln that has never been seen before!
Sharpe’s Fireworks in the Kiln is a fun-packed family event featuring a spectacular illuminated display inside our Grade II listed kiln on Friday 5th November at 6.30pm. There will be a drink and hot snack included, amusement from Fancy Entertainment’s brilliant actors and an opportunity to take a tour around the illuminated museum.
We will also be hosting a family crafts workshop on Saturday 6th November at 11am, themed around The Gunpowder Plot and learning more about the history surrounding the event of the failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. Children will be able to choose from a selection of crafts including a bonfire lantern, mini Guy Fawkes, gunpowder barrel, fireworks and more!
