Crafty Glass Studio

Jyoti Hawley is a designer and creator of decorative fused glass artwork homeware and jewellery. Glass fusion is her passion and she has been creating in her studio in Derbyshire since 2017

Jyoti believes in beautiful design and careful execution while allowing the natural variations that are a result of the firing/melting process to enhance the finished piece. She takes inspiration from the natural world to produce simple and beautiful designs, flowers, trees and oceans are all captured in her work.

CRZyBest

Claire R. Zwozny-Bestwick, aka CRZyBest, is an eco-friendly silversmith & sculptor, working from her Shedquarters in Derbyshire. Claire creates in metal clay: which once kiln fired turns into metal. Her silver creations are hallmarked as 925 sterling silver, if they weigh over 7.78g and her copper-clay, when fired turns into pure copper.

Derwent Woodturning Club

Derwent Woodturning Club has roughly forty members and is based here at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum. The skill levels in the club range from absolute beginners to those with decades of experience. These woodturning pieces for sale are all produced by members using a range of techniques and materials. Though members use electrically powered lathes, the work is handcrafted and each item made is unique!

Louise Mary Designs

Louise Mary is a contemporary artist silversmith and jeweller, author and jewellery tutor based at her workshop in Sharpe’s Pottery Museum, South Derbyshire. Louise loves creating stylish, handmade jewellery and silverware designs, inspired by nature.

Made in Swad

Made in Swad illustrations are a celebration of Swadlincote and South Derbyshire heritage as well as our flourishing future. The illustrations are available to buy as postcards, A4 prints, and tea towels and make great gifts for local folks, souvenirs for holidaymakers, or can rekindle fond memories of Swadlincote for ex-pats.

Ticknall Pottery

Born in Derbyshire and inspired by the hills, history and communities. Maria’s art pottery is created by using a pottery wheel to ‘throw’ vases, bowls, plates and mugs using stoneware and porcelain clays. Mixing her own glazes ensures the colours are unique and vibrant. Maria also creates her own handmade Tower poppies.
