Sea Glass & Pottery for Children
7 October - 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Have you ever wondered what you can do with the beautiful things you can find on the beach when you’re on holiday? Join our workshop with Karen from Shore Things and she’ll show you how to create unique art from sea glass and sea pottery with it’s softly rounded edges and pastel colours. Everyone is an artist under Karen’s tutelage, and even if you think you’re not creative, Karen will lead you through the steps to create and frame a piece of art to be proud of. And all from the the bits and bobs you can pick up from the shore line*!
This class is for children. Please see 9 November for our adult class.
£15 per child, booking is essential – SESSION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, PLEASE SEE CLASS ON 31 OCTOBER
*Please note: Karen is very careful in what and how she collects things from the beach. Under the Coastal Protection Act 1949, it is illegal to remove pebbles or sand from UK beaches, so Karen collects pieces of glass or pottery that have been washed ashore by the sea and is classed as rubbish so she is able to collect and recycle.
