Sea Glass for Children

22 February - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This Half Term create something wonderful out of recycled materials collected from the beach!  Each jewel-like fragment is a piece of glass or pottery washed smooth by the sea and washed up on a beach.  With a little imagination, these can become beautiful pictures and keepsakes, perfect for the ‘mother’ in your life.

£15 per person, booking is essential

*Please note: Karen is very careful in what and how she collects things from the beach.  Under the Coastal Protection Act 1949, it is illegal to remove pebbles or sand from UK beaches, so Karen collects pieces of glass or pottery that have been washed ashore by the sea and is classed as rubbish so she is able to collect and recycle.
