Step into the warmth and wonder of the season at Sharpe’s Pottery Museum. We have created a day full of festive magic, creativity, and family fun. Explore hands-on experiences and be immersed in all things Christmas.

Christmas Film Showings – Glaze Room

Settle in for seasonal favourites as the Glaze Room transforms into a festive mini cinema. Films such as Father Christmas will run continuously throughout the day, with one of our friendly volunteers on hand to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported. A perfect place to relax and soak up the Christmas spirit.

Modelling-Clay Santas and Snowmen – The Kiln

Let your creative side get to work inside our iconic Kiln! Join us for a creative craft session, where everyone is welcome and can sculpt their own modelling-clay Santas and Snowmen.
Papercraft is next with delightful Christmas themed projects, guided by two of our talented volunteers who are ready to inspire and encourage every maker to create, and take home a piece of festive magic.

Meet The Snowman™ – Whole Museum

Believe in the magic and look out for The Snowman™ as he appears at intervals in the Kiln and Courtyard, spreading festive cheer. Whether it’s a friendly wave, or a magical moment of surprise, he’ll be making the day one to remember.

Join us for a festive celebration filled with creativity, heritage, and Christmas joy, kindly funded by the UK Government – Shared Prosperity Fund.
